  • FAMILY LIFE CENTER NEWS:

Wide-ranging things are on the horizon for Central A/G's Family Life Center. However, that means big hearted commitment from each of us followed by an intentional commitment to give financially. Please begin thinking and praying about a financial gift.

While final numbers are not squared away, clearly $300,000 towards the $1.2 million needed for completion will make this much more manageable. This will include a finished main floor, kitchen, required (by city) elevator, bathrooms downstairs and exterior landscaping/retention pond.

Please communicate to the church office either through a paper offering envelope or an on-line monetary gift what your financial commitment to this project is going to be. Paper brochures are available at the Welcome Desk with more visionary details.

Harley Motorcycle is for sale to assist with this project; help us spread the word so it sells. Also a diamond ring set and a woman's gold chain.

  • SPECIAL SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS

Pastor Cole's inspirational thoughts for 2018:

"Seek first the kingdom of God... and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33. Define your goals. What is your goal in life? We should ask ourselves, "Why was I born? For what purpose did I come into this world? What am I supposed to do here?" Nobody will ever get far who can not clearly define what he/she is aiming for. Your goal should be well enough defined so that you can unhesitatingly state it to others. (My goal, for example, is to show people that Jesus Christ is the answer to their lives.) And everything you do should be dedicated to your goal. When that happens, you bring meaning into your life.

So focus on your goals by repeating the above scripture verse. Write down one goal you wish to accomplish this week, this month and this year. Place the written goal somewhere you will see it. Imaging the successful outcome your goal represents. Visualize this image at least once each day.

  • Personal Living Tips

    Teamwork makes the dream work:

Luke 5:1-11 It's true that teams have the ability to accomplish more than any one person could do on their own. Jesus certainly understood this concept and intentionally teamed up high-capacity leaders with one another. He almost never sent people out to do ministry on their own. Teams get more done, generate higher levels of creativity and demonstrate greater problem solving ability, while providing encouragement and support for  members. Besides all that, teams have more fun. An old African proverb says, "If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together."

  • Sanctuary Flags

If your country's flag isn't represented in our sanctuary, please see Pastor Amy or e-mail her at centralvision@juno.com to reserve your country's flag NO later than Sunday, January 28th.
